Our Fees and Medical Billing in Port Pirie 

The staff at Pirie Medical Centre believes that good health is a right that each person is entitled to in order to live his or her best life. We aim to make that goal attainable by providing fairly priced medical services. Our health care is an excellent value as we offer some of the best health care in the area.

At Pirie Medical Centre, we offer bulk billing as a payment option under the Medicare system. This can cover a number of different health services as outlined in your Medicare Benefits Schedule, which is up to the discretion of our health service providers. Pensioners, Veterans’ Affairs, all children under 16, hospital and aged care employees are all bulk billed.

All fees are to be paid at the time of the consultation. Some consultations are not Medicare rebatable and require an out of pocket expense from the patient, this also includes payments for Pre-Employment Medicals, Insurance documents and an equipment fee for Minor Procedures all payable on the day.
